just one loss

All it took was one weekend and bam its over. National Championship hopes went out the window. A very motivated Georgia Tech Team out willed the 5th ranked Clemson Tigers to a 31-17 loss at Tech. Things could not have started worse for the tigers in the hostile environment that the Georgia Tech fan base had created. A packed stadium and very young Clemson team did not make well for the tigers. The stat that  killed the tigers was the time of possession. Tech had the ball almost twice as long as the stellar Clemson offense and when that is a factor not much else needs to be said about who won. Keeping the football away from the tigers is that only way teams could beat them or even contend. The defense of the tigers looked even more out of place than normal. From blown assignments to poor tackling it is no wonder the yellow jackets were in offensive control of the game. Sustaining drives and slowly letting the clock run down lead to the demise and the first loss for the Clemson Tigers.

Change

Oh how things have changed in my life in just 5 months. Three days before graduation i deiced i want to go to Clemson. I went to summer school and made it happen. Well i got on the path by going to tri county. After just two short months at tri county i have decided that im better off going to college in georgia. Wow talk about stressed. University Of West Georgia will more than likely be my new home come august of next year. I still havent told my grandfather who has been paying for my tuition here at tri county that i dont want to go to Clemson. I know he will be supportive but its going to be the initial shock that i think might hurt him. They have done so much for me and i just cant even fathem disappointing him. On top of all that i had to drop my macro class which means summer school if i want to transfer by the fall. Its strange how god works but it feels even stranger to follow him sometimes.

Home

Yesterday for the first time in two months I made the four hour drive to my home town. It was the longest i have ever been away topping a two week period in the summer when I went to basketball camp. Its amazing how much things have changes in two short months. The McDonalds has been torn down and is being rebuilt. The Town of Trion even cut down a tree that has been in my yard since before I was alive! Our football team went from mediocre to piss poor. I cant say I dont love every second of it. I never was fond of the coaches here but I do kind of feel bad for this little football town. I did miss this place even though I never thought I would. It almost makes me think of moving back but I feel my life slowly being pulled to South Carolina and away from this Georgia town. Its a sad but fantastic feeling.

"fun"

College really isn't that bad. Everyone has told be around this time I would be freaking out and know what real stress feels like. So far it hasnt even been that bad so far. Of course I have had to work some but nothing that wasnt expected. The only thing that has me down is I might have to drop my Macro class because of a low grade. Before the drop date we will only have had 3 test and i failed the first one along with 75% of the class. The rest of my classes are going pretty well. I have all A's for the first time in my life although it was the first time in my life I have tried. I just need to stay motivated and keep my grades up. Thats going to be "fun". I guess all learning isnt suppose to be "fun".

Florida State Game

This past week Clemons football team beat ranked teams back to back for the first time in years. This team was 11th ranked Florida State. The seminoles came into death valley off of a loss to number one ranked Oklahoma. The banged up Florida State team had to start a freshman quarterback on the road for his first time. The freshman did surprisingly well throwing for 3 touchdown passes and was only sacked twice. The   noles stood no chance against a well oiled Clemson team who would not stop. Clemson racked up over 400 yards in four quarters of play. Freshman sensation Sammy Watkins had two touchdown and over 100 yards. Tajh Boyd tfor the fourth straight game had 3 td passes. Clemsons defense allowed a touchdown in the second half for the first time in this season. Over all it was a great day to be a Clemson tiger.

Clemson Auburn

Win streak buried in Death Valley. Auburn coming into tiger town attempting to add another win to the nations longest win streak only to be meet on the fields by a team who wasn't going to let that happen. Tahj  Boyd ended up having a great game throwing well and having a good ground game. Sammy Whatkins had   two receiving touchdowns and showed unbelievable athleticism and execution for a freshman. Andre Ellington had a solid first half but received a deep thigh bruise that put him on the bench for most of the second half. Andres back up D. J. howard stepped up and carried the tigers the rest of the way home offensively, almost racking up 100 yards in a little over a quater. Sealing the deal was Clemson's senior cornerback Coty Sensabaugh with a game sealing interception. These are all pretty good stats and plays made but the important part is Clemson won a very big ball game. ( I copied the part where is says senior CB Coty Sensabaugh and it made the font odd. I didnt copy and paste all of this.)

Procrastination

Right this minuit I have a few things I should of could be doing. Its a sticky situation im in right now is that im stressing over a math test that my teacher has yet to post. I have an art project due next week i need to start. My grandmother is in the hospital right now and that brings some stress. My family is stressed because of my grandmother and they are always worried about me and school. I took a test today in Macro and I feel uneasy about it. In just a few weeks my life has gained so much stress. Not only school and family are stressful but I have about three groups of new friends that i need to put in face time with. Ugh your day can become so packed so fast its not even funny. My college classes aren't all to hard they are just time consuming. I guess you could say im taking Time Management 101.
